Route Restrictions
Falcons will not be permitted on flights to Tunis.
Reservations
You will need to contact Qatar Airways and tell them you are flying with a falcon at least 48 hours prior to travel.
Service and Emotional Support Animals
Qatar Airways will accept one service or emotional support (comfort) dog per passenger on their flights according to their regulations. Service dogs must be trained to assist disabled passengers (sight, hearing, seizures, etc.)
Service dogs or emotional support dogs can travel free of charge in the cabin only on Qatar Airways flights to or from Australia, Brazil, Canada, EU, Georgia, India, Norway, Switzerland and the United States. On all other flights, they may travel free of charge as checked baggage.
Qatar Airways must be notified a minimum of 48 hours in advance if you are flying with a service or emotional support (comfort) dog. You must provide pet pads or some other absorbent material for your dog. Safety harnesses are recommended.
Owners of emotional support (comfort) dogs must submit documentation on the letter heard of a licensed medical professional dated within the past year certifying the need for your pet to be with you. Licensing information should be present on the letter.
Checked Baggage Pet Policy
If your pet is too large to fit under the seat, it is an animal other than a dog or cat, or if it is a very long flight, American may transport your pet in the cargo section of the aircraft according to its regulations. This section of the cargo department has the same temperature and pressure as the passenger cabin.
Pets Allowed
The following animals can be transported as checked baggage: dogs or cats, livestock, tropical fish, small mammals and birds. There is no limit to the number of pets that can travel as excess baggage however there may be weight or space limitations based on aircraft type. Rodents such as mice, rats, marmots, and rabbits are not allowed as checked baggage; however, they will be accepted as air cargo.
Weight of pet including crate must not be greater than 75 kg to fly as checked baggage. The total dimension of the crate (l + w + h) must not be larger than 118 inches (300 cm).
Age
Pets must be more than 12 weeks of age.
Route Restrictions
Dogs and cats cannot fly as checked baggage into the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa or Hong Kong. They must fly as air cargo.
Reservations
Reservations should be made between 3 and 7 days ahead of departure time.
Check-In
When flying as checked baggage, you will check in your dog or cat at the passenger ticket counter at which time you will pay the fee for transport. Pet owners are encouraged to check in early as the number of pets per flight is limited. There are no maximum number of pets flying as checked baggage per passenger except for limitations imposed by the size of the cargo hold.
Forms Required
Health Certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of travel. All documentation for your destination country will be required.

Live animals will not be transported as air cargo on any of the following aircraft: Airbus 319, Airbus 320, Airbus 321, Airbus 321S and Airbus 321H due to configurations of the cargo hold.

Manifest (Air) Cargo Pet Policies
If your pet is flying unaccompanied, it is very large or Qatar Airways will not permit it to fly in the cabin or as checked baggage, it can fly as air cargo. The airline’s cargo department administers this class of service. For the safety and comfort of the animal, Qatar Airways recommends transporting your pet as air cargo during the hotter months (May-October).

Qatar Airways has an extensive network spanning the United States, Europe, the Middle and Far East, Africa, and several South American countries.
Puppies and Kittens
Qatar Airways will transport puppies and kittens over 12 weeks of age. Puppies and kittens should be vaccinated for rabies and accompanied with all documentation for their destination country.

Banned Breeds
Qatar Airways will not fly the following breeds or their mixes: : Greyhound dogs (with the exception of pets), Affenpinscher, Pug (all breeds), American Pit Bull Terrier, Bichon Frise, Bull dog (all breeds), Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bull Mastiff (English Mastiff) Cane Corso, King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) English Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Japanese Chin, Pekingese, Presa Canario, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Valley Terrier and French Terrier.
Additionally, the following cats will not be accepted: Exotic and Persian/ Shirazi.
Other Animals
Qatar Airways will transport a variety of animals (see air cargo above) as long as they are not dangerous or offensive animals, unhealthy animals or pets that will be banned by the country of destination.
